Is getting the whole family involved in making the perfect snowman or snow creation on your list of must dos this winter? Here are a few tips to help you on your way. First, you need the right kind of snow, not too dry and not too wet. Of course, if the snow is too dry, you can always spray the snow with water until you get just the right consistency to make a great snow creation. If you’re making a rather large snowman, you can always put a plank up against your bottom snowball and roll the other snowballs up the plank to save on heavy lifting. If you want to stop traffic or freak your neighbors out, build your snowman upside down, which will make it appear to have its head stuck in the snow or have your snowman eating a snow cone (you get the point, right?)Better still you can wow them with a whole snow-people family, snow pet and all! Be sure to have all the correct accessories on hand, carrots for the nose, coal or stones for the eyes, buttons or twine to make a mouth, smiling of course! Improvise if you have too.
One of the most fun things to build in the snow is a snow fort. Then of course this will be followed by the ultimate snowball fight. Staying protected in your fort will give you the advantage. Surprise your neighbors by winging a snowball in their direction; you’ll of course be hidden behind your fortress!
