This is the time of year that tends to seem long and daunting. It’s not good weather to go out in, and yet we’re tired of being sort of shut inside. Unless you’re on a strict diet that you started for yourself, this is a fun time to gather with some friends at home or coworkers at work and bring “comfort” food.

It’s not for every day, of course, but why not every once in a while have a little pick-me-up to get us through until spring? Spring, by the way, is scheduled for March 20th, 2019. Meanwhile, have a little joy in finger foods that can be shared. Think of all the fun people will have chatting around the break room or kitchen table.

Catch up on chit chat with everyone’s life. What’s happening around town? Who’s getting married? What plans for spring do people have? Create a spontaneous joyous occasion. Some ideas are listed below of what to take or surprise people with.

Cheese curds

Green/black olives

Fresh fruit bowl

Crackers

Veggies bites

Pretzels & mustard dip

Cookies

Little sandwich bites

Pepperoni slices

Pasta salad in little cups

You get the idea! These are just little snacks that fill the void and make you a little happier. Spring will arrive soon, and we’ll feel a little less trapped inside. We might as well make the best of moments to grab a little joy. Below is an easy recipe to follow to wow your fellow snackers.
