When life hands you lemons...

When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade, but what if the lemons are just too much to handle. Sometimes life throws us small curveballs that we can swing at and hit for a great homerun, but then there are times when life throws us a curveball that we simply can’t even find it within us to swing at, or to even pick up the bat. What do we do, how do we cope, how do we live? It’s in these times of our greatest weakness that we find our greatest strength. It’s in this time that life becomes smaller, more precious, more drilled down to what really is important, to what really matters most to us.

I think sometimes in this life we are always looking ahead, planning for this and that, worrying over things that may be years and years down the road and then one day we look up and realize we’ve missed the now because we were in the future! The beautiful now is really all we have, learning to live in the now is the key to a life of contentment.

While living in the now doesn’t mean you can’t have goals and dreams, it does mean that you don’t miss a single thing in your life that has importance. Don’t wait until life hands you a lemon or throws you a curveball to find the real meaning to your life. Look around, your blessings are right there.

Be rooted, Be grounded, Be strong, Be happy, Be you...right now!
