Sometimes all it takes is a moment in time that shakes you to the core to make you change something. As the saying goes something like, nothing is going to change unless you make a change. It’s not quote for quote, but it’s close. So, if you’ve been in a rut and feel like you want to be motivated, but just don’t have the energy to start, here are a few reasons why you can change if you do a comparison of what you’ve been doing and how close you really are to switching gears.

Healthy Food - $100 - too expensive

Dinner date to impress - $100 - affordable

Monthly supplements - $100 - cannot afford

Friday happy hour - $100 - weekly occurrences

Personal Growth investment seminar - $1000 - cannot justify

iPhone XR - $1000 - necessity

60 mins @ gym - no time!

60 mins/binge watching Netflix - let's continue!

Everything in life is about #priorities. And what you prioritize will dictate how your future life looks like.

Is your #futurelife looking the way you want it?

It’s that simple. When we look at what we’ve been doing we can also look at why we can change our mindset. Are we saying we don’t have time, but we really do? Are we saying we can’t afford something, but we really can? That’s why it’s important to take a look at things closely and see how we really spend our time. Do we go home, eat and get off our feet? It sounds good, but just before you get off your feet only 5 minutes could get something done that will make a difference. In the morning do you sleep in, or could you set your alarm clock a little earlier to make time for fitness and healthy food choices for the day?

Take a look next time you’re going to watch television, and if you can exercise instead. See if the item you are picking up is actually a necessity and if you could put that amount back for something more beneficial. It’s about planning and thinking. Little changes can lead to big changes. It’s all in how much you want to change.
