For 46 years we have made it a tradition to celebrate Christmas Eve with my parents in their home. That evening we attend church services at North Terrace Church of Christ. We cherish this time as a family to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas together.
Cheryl and I stay home Christmas Day. We are always blessed with a household of friends and family that we warmly welcome. These are the times we love, because family and friends mean a great deal to us and celebrating with them is such a special time.
We always try to serve others this time of year. It is so rewarding to know we are helping those in need, and being an example to our children so they can carry on this tradition for themselves.
The McCullough’s Tree Service crew normally gets time off if it’s not snowing. They enjoy some well-earned time spent with their family. Being a 24/7 service can sometimes take you out on-call to situations where customers need us all hours of the day or night.
So, when they can, some of the crew take vacations or work on personal projects.
Evie and Elfie (pictured) have traditionally kept an eye on everyone to keep them on their toes, and I think they did a good job! They say goodbye to 2017 and look forwarding to coming back next Christmas.
