Wow, if you’re in Ohio right now, it’s a deluge. This much needed rain is just what the doctor ordered right now. Things were starting to get a little dried out, so the timing is perfect! Is that how you’re looking at it? It’s all about attitude. I look at it like this, in July when we are begging for rain, we will know that we have some stored up for drier days ahead! My garden was starting to need watering and the plants and flowers were also in need of attention. This way, it’s all good…I don’t have to do a thing.

I’m sitting here blogging with my patio doors open, the wind chimes playing a beautiful melody and the rain tapping on the trees and landing on the roof and patio…it’s quite cathartic!

Tropical storm Cindy combined forces with a couple of weather fronts and created our own version of a monsoon! So, what to do? It’s the perfect time to catch up on some reading, sorting through your mail, bake a batch of cookies, take a nap or just about any indoor activity that makes you happy. Maybe that’s catching up on some cleaning…forget I said that, who thinks that’s fun!

Even though it’s raining, you can choose to look at it as a beneficial, positive thing. Your trees will have a good water supply for deep roots when the weather turns hot and dry.
