Tell People How Much You Appreciate Them

When you treat people right and show them appreciation for what they do it makes two people feel good…them and you. Recognition for a job well done can make that person want to work even harder to please. You may change how they view the world with a kind word.

Showing sincerity is also very important. Saying nice things and not following that with actions is not as effective as showing by example. The saying goes; “Actions speak louder than words” which is so very true. Do what you say and mean it. Lead by example.

If you want loyalty, you give it. If you want kindness, you give it. If you want respect, you give it. These things don’t just happen and stick. Being a person of integrity is what people remember about you. If you say you will do something do what you say. If you don’t do it yourself then you’ve lost credibility.

A great saying is, “Be the person your dog thinks you are!” Listen more and speak less. Show kindness by little gestures. Practice is the best way. Once you practice this behavior then it comes naturally. The good things you do will come back to you!
